I played with the beautiful newest Eclectic stamps and one of the new Quote stamps, and it was almost impossible to stop stamping :-)
This is what I made:
The background of this first tag is made by using Distress Paints. I scribbled three colours of Paint onto the craft sheet, spritzed a little water and sweeped the tag throuth the paint. After that I dripped some metallic Distress Paint on the tag as well. I created a background by stamping the compasses and globe (DDRS090 Discover) with black StazOn ink. I stamped the Pocket Watch (DDES002) on a seperate piece of crème paper with Versamark ink and heat-embossed it with brass embossing powder, cut it out and sponged with Distress ink Vintage Photo, and added it on the tag.
This two tags and ATC are stamped with the wonderful new quote stamp DDQS003 Journey . I stamped them onto white cardstock with Versamark ink and heat-embossed with black and dark blue embossing powder. I coloured the quotes with Distress Markers and blended it with water and a brush. I stamped the black tag (above) with frost white Colorbox ink and background stamp DDBS025 World Map onto black paper.
This quote is also made with embossing powder and Distress Markers. I made the background of the tag with Distress Paint as I discribed above and I stamped the new big swirl eclectic stamp DDS006 Fancy Flourish with StazOn Midnight Blue at the edges and coloured them with Distress Markers. I also stamped parts of the World Map in the centre, added the quote and finished with a piece of lace.
I created this tag almost the same as the one above, I masked some areas and stamped the Castle DDPS028 with black StazOn ink. I finished the tag with some flowers and the words ,bon voyage' (both DDRS035 All Occasions)
To make this card, I first stamped the quote with Versamark onto a white card and heat-embossed it with black embossing powder and masked it. I stamped the Fance Flourish with Distress ink Pumice Stone and the Castle with black StazOn ink. I sponged it with Distress Vintage Photo and I sponged the edges with black ink.I removed the masking paper and glued it onto white, black and brown cardstock.
