Darkroom Door Gazette

Another wonderful Darkroom Door background stamp: DDBS032 Gazette !! :-D

 
 Card: I stamped Gazette with StazOn ink Jet Black  onto an alcohol inked glossy card and coloured some accents with Distress Markers. I stamped the man (DDRS068 Steampunk)  , the car
 (DDRS074 London Vol. 2) and the text (DDRS094 New York Vol. 2) onto a  seperate  piece of paper, cut it out and added onto the card.                     

 

 

I cut out this two envelopes by using the Sizzix/Tim Holtz die Movers&Shapers ,Pocket Envelope'. I stamped the Gazette stamp with Memories ink Soft Brown and the bridges with Memories ink Black. I sponged the circles with Memories ink Cup-a-Joe. Bridges stamps: DDRS093 New York Vol. 1 and DDRS052 Notre Dame.

Postage Stamps Background cards

 

 

 

 

Hi everyone,
I had lots of fun making some cards by using this wonderful (big!)  Darkroom Door  DDBS030 Postage Stamps   stamp !
The 1st and 2nd card : I stamped with Adirondack Big & Juicy ink pads, blended the colours with a water brush  and I stamped the images with StazOn ink Jet Black. Onto the Notre Dame and the Big Ben I used a little bleach. Stamp sets I used for this two cards:DDRS073 London Vol. 1, DDRS074 London Vol. 2, DDRS052 Notre Dame, DDRS049 Tour Eiffel, DDRS029 Prague Vol. 1, DDRS090 Discover. I sponged the edges with black ink and matted the cards onto black cardstock.

For the 3rd and 4th card I cut out the Postage Stamp die by Tim Holtz/Sizzix. I masked the edges and stamped the Postage Stamps background with black (3rd card)  and Big & Juicy (4th card)  ink.
I added an image from Filmstrip London Vol.1 and ,Destiny' from Wordstrip Prague Vol. 2.
The stamp ,Find your way' is a DDRS090 Discover stamp.

Darkroom Door: Mothers day Domino Book

 

 

 For this mothers day present, an accordeon fold domino book, I stamped the fronts and sides of two dominos by inking the Darkroom Door stamp DDCS006 Music, and pressing the domino onto the stamp. I used StazOn ink Jet  Black, Timber brown  and Royal purple. I cut a strip of white cardstock and scored and folded it, a little smaller than the domino. I stamped the Music stamp and the Photo stamp DDSB004 Laneway , I masked some areas and I used not the entire stamp, just some pieces. I sponged the front- and backside of the paper with Adirondack Purple Twilight, Sunshine yellow and Distress ink Picked Raspberry. I cut the words , Just for you' off of the Wordstrip DDWS002 Full Bloom , sponged the words and glued them onto the page. I glued a piece of ribbon on the backside of each domino and added the accordion book on the domino-backsides.

UTEE op een canvasje

Vanmiddag lekker in de weer geweest met de Meltingpot , UTEE, en stempels ! Dit mini-canvasje gemaakt. Stempels gebruikt van Art Journey en Hero Arts.
Vrijdag a.s. geef ik een workshop waar je o.a. dit canvasje maakt ! :-)

Sydney

Lekker even wat van m'n nieuwe aanwinsten ingewijd ! De prachtige sets Sydney vol. 1 en Sydney vol. 2 van Darkroom Door ! Twee one-layer kaarten, zoals ik bijna altijd doe, ik ben nou eenmaal geen embellishments-type ;-). De achtergrond gemaakt met Adirondack inkt Pool en Stream en de Distress Gathered Twigs refill, en water. Gestempeld met zwarte StazOn en chloor. De afbeeldingen gebleekt met chloor.

Nieuwe Art Journey Stempels....!

Maar liefst 4 prachtige nieuwe Art Journey stempelplates hebben we gelanceerd tijdens het (superleuke gezellige en succesvolle) Art Specially Event afgelopen weekend ! :-)
Hands, Silhouette 2 (tijdelijk uitverkocht..), Roses 2 en Waterdrops. Ik heb er al wat kaarten en ATC's mee gemaakt en de andere DT leden laten ook hun schitterende creaties zien. Check hun blogs en het Art Journey Design Team blog  hier rechts ->

 

 

 

 

 De achtergronden van deze 2 kaarten heb ik gesponst met een template: hierboven Church Windows en hieronder Garden Gate en ik heb ook nog wat andere Art Journey stempels gebruikt, o.a. het gras en de tak van Bird Boy.

 

Darkroom Door : Nomad

Hi all !

 

 

I had lots of fun making some projects with the Darkroom Door stampset Nomad ! Wonderful vintage travel related stamps, love them !!

 



 

 

                                        

 

 

For this big card I created a alcohol ink background onto glossy paper and stamped the big background stamp World Map with black StazOn ink. I stamped some post stamps (Nomad)  at the edges with blue StazOn . I made some accents with a Distress Marker , Vintage Photo.

I stamped the textt, suitcase and letter onto a seperate piece of coloured glossy paper and cut them out. I sponged the edges black. I cut out a man from the Photobooth-Hats, and added everything onto the card.  

 

The shape of the suitcase stack is so wonderful to use for a small notebook, a nice present ! I stamped it onto cardstock with Memories ink Artprint Brown and cut it out. I also stamped it three times on thin paper with very light ink (I used Adirondack Sandal) so the pages will be writable, and just cut out three blank pages in the same shape. I stamped some of them with the World Map. I sponged the edges of the pages with Distress ink Vintage Photo.

I stamped the backsides with the big Nomad tekst, punched three holes and interconnected the pages with jump rings. I finished the books with the smaal cut out postmark and a piece of twine.
